We had a real good ride today - did the 50 mile - the weather was real nice but it was cool at the start of the ride but ti did warm up nicely. There were about 12 of us on the ride and 10 of us did the 50. I had a close call with a Porcha(can't spell it) He really did not come real close to me but I thought he was going to hit me and went off the road - scared me a bit. I am very glad I am safe. Made for a strange ride for me.

Yep, 12 riders today. Welcome to new riders Sophie, Peggy, and Ken. Also with us today were Sandy, Ashby, Jeff, Mark, Al, John M., Brian, Steve, and myself.

A little cold to start, but turned into a beautiful day. Two riders did the 38 miler, the rest of us did the 50. At about the 35 mile mark we split into two groups. I think the first group came in at about 16 mph, my group was about 15.5.

The first group would have turned around 17MPH but they had to wait for some tired dude on a Giant OCR-C who kept falling back. (I showed 16.5 on the Cateye.) The group was really nice and waited several times for him. I wonder who he was ?




Anyway, thanks to the group for waiting for me.
