I plan to be there and will likely decide at the 18 mile mark. I am in the 15-16 range.

It is extremely unlikely that I will make it tomorrow. There is just too much I need to get done around here. It looks like there is a critical mass in each distance group, so you all have fun and besure to have enough water. It will probably be a hot one.

I plan on riding tomorrow for the first time, I am looking for a good group to start riding with more consistently. have road biked off and on in the past and hope to get motivated to cycle more. Plan on doing the 34 miler.

I'm back in town now so I plan to be there for the 50. I'll do whatever pace is required for the group. If we have enough to split into a slow and fast grp of 50 milers, I can lead the faster group.

Debbie and I had a great ride today. Got pretty hot out there. We did the 34m route @ 12.8. Great to meet you Debbie and glad to have you join me on the route. Hope you'll come back again.

Yes Michelle, it certainly was hot. One of those days it felt worse to stop. We had a very good ride though. I think the heat really starting getting to some of us the last 10 miles or so. I ended up with 16.4 avg, 50 miles.

Being the "some of us" that Perry refers to, i can attest it was hot !! I was wiped out. Hope tomorrow is a little more human temp - wise, or I'm a little more acclimated to it.

I finished with a 16.8 .. I'm not sure how I beat your speed as i was behind you most of the way. I think your cat-eye is messed up.

I'm glad to go along with your 16.8 avg.

I finished with a 17 avg speed, but I think getting the wind in my hair on Tingen Rd. helped that a bit.

I thought it was a good ride. I'm the mis-adjusted one who didn't think the heat was all that bad. I'm also the guy who was wrapped up in multiple layers when it was below 75 deg out in CA.
