I'm going to miss this week I believe. Took a cardio kickboxing class at the gym last night and I don't think I've recovered quite enough to push 30+ miles. Talk about a workout.

We had another big crowd tonight. It was a little warm, but a great night to ride. Thanks to Wayne for leading the fast group and Tommy for leading the middle group. I rode with Todd and Peggy. My stats are posted here.

We went up the road for Mexican food after the ride. Rick wasn't back yet so I rode up to make sure they were okay (not fighting a mechanical or something), found them on Apex Peakway moving along slowly but surely!

Mad - not at anyone on the ride but with myself - I was just riding so poorly.

I will likely blog about how I am feeling.

I was wondering what was up - not like you to leave afterwards without stopping by for a chat! Tim and I were off the pace tonight - we started 15 minutes late after changing my tube morphed into renewing the rim tape on my wheel. We caught the lead group after riding for about half an hour, so set a pretty brisk pace once we did get underway.

Thanks, Jon, for coming back to check on us. Everyone made it back under his/her own power this time, but we were about 4 mph slower coming back than we were going out.

No one needs to feel bad or apologize for being the slowest rider. Someone has to be the slowest, and technically, I am the one who usually finishes last Everyone has a bad night once in a while. It is a different person each week, but with as many riders as we have, every week someone will have a rough night. I appreciate the support that is provided by the rest of the group to make sure that everyone returns safely
