I've started new webpage for all cyclists all around the world. Yes, I know, there're many other webpages for cyclists. But, this webpage is completely different.

I use to ride a bike often, therefore I ride a lot of kilometres. So I want to compete and compare with another cyclists. I was searching and googling on the net webpage where I can do so, but I didn't find any. So, I've decided to set up one by myself. You can find it here: Bycicle Leaugue (http://bike.freehostia.com). Simply, it's a competition where you try to ride as much kilometres as you can. Each time you ride your bike you log on, provide some basic information such as length, origin, duration, ....etc and then you look to our ranking how many cyclist did you beat. Or you can try our statistics which says you something about your performance. Great thing is that you can win some special prize if you ride a lot. E.g right now we have a prize for person who rides more than 1000kms

Hope, you join us

Thats pretty cool.. One question, how do you verify people actually ride the miles they claim to ride?

Actually, I know almost all people in ranking personally, so there's no problem so far. But, if someone claim to ride 2000 miles in 2 days then he lies or he is really good. But, probably the first choice.... Then i'll ask him for some proof such as photos, maps etc.
Then I use some simple system of certifications or trusted persons, which is explained on the webpage. At least hope I explained it correctly....;)
On the other hand, there's always place for providing incorrect information as well as here on this forum or anywhere else on the net. But I hope that if someone takes it seriously then this person provide correct information. Beause if he doesn't take it seriously he probably doesn't register....
