Anyone plan on doing this ride? Only the first 300 registrants can ride.

I'll prolly sign up for the metric...

Right now it looks like I will be sitting this one out.

Hello, Newbie here.

I'm going to try to make the Frostbite ride; it depends how many others I can talk into doing it. I rode the metric last year and it was not easy for a February ride at all. I thought that riding out near Clayton would have meant it would be flat. :)

It was pretty much except for that one hill at the 45 mile mark. Boy was I glad I had a triple crank. :D The hard part for me last year was turning into the wind for the last 6 miles. My odometer seems to be frozen. I kept cranking but I wasn't getting anywhere.

Let's get together and tough it out.

2 weeks to go and still no maps in the download area.

The cue sheets are on the web site now. Looks like the same route as last year.

i haven't signed up. not sure that i will. last year, i got over zealous in signing up for each and every dang ride there was. somehow, thought that was the only way to get these long rides in. i know better now.

i have signed up for RRR, tho. don't know what i will do for next saturday. maybe ride somewhere w/jay & tracy????

The weather is actually looking pretty good for next weekend if it doesnt change between now and then. Im open for anything.. I could do the 100k FBT or ride somewheres else.. Dont make me no difference.

Raven Rock is an incredible route. Even if you cannot make it that weekend to the event it's worth going out there and riding it. It's all marked with arrows starting at Harris Lake Park. Dang near impossible to get lost on that ride. Though I did get turned around on the 100 miler once when they repaved part of 42 and the arrows were gone... :D

We piggy back this route a bit for the CBC MS150 team rides and bike and brew rides. Nothing like riding a metric at the crack of dawn then hitting up the CBC tour on Saturdays.

yea, that would be good...go ride a metric early AM then hit the CBC tour for some free beer samples :D. they've got some dang good beer, but i'm not having any for the next few months - it doesn't go well with the weight loss....

Alright, time for a head count. I'm signed up and paid so I'm going to ride it. There is plenty of space left for drop ins. Who's with me?
