Jay provided instructions on this thread. http://www.trianglecycling.com/showthread.php?t=17422 (http://www.trianglecycling.com/showthread.php?t=17422)

You can sign up for RSS Feeds and view it from Internet Explorer. You can view activity on the website from the RSS Feed without having to sign into the website.

I set up RSS Feeds for SS and just received Mike D's replies to 3 threads. Since I created the threads, I am automatically subscribed to the threads. I think you have to be subscribed to threads to receive email updates on RSS Feeds.

To view Slow Spokes RSS Feeds, go to this link and sign up: I use Internet Explorer (IE) 7. If you use IE 6, it may not show the same options I describe below.

At the top, click on Subscribe to this feed.

A box will appear showing where it will save feeds. It will save it to your Favorites on Internet Explorer.

Select Subscribe

A page will appear saying you have successfully subscribed to this Feed and it will list the contents of new threads and replies.

When you go to Internet Explorer, if you don’t see an option on the toolbar to select RSS Feeds:
Right click on the toolbar and select Custom Command Bar
Add or Remove Commands
You can add RSS Feeds so it will show up when you open Internet Explorer.

To change the setting for how frequently it is updated, when you are viewing the RSS Feed:
Click on View Feed Properties
Under Update Schedule, select Use Custom Schedule
On the drop down box for Frequency, select Feed Minimum (60 minutes).
Select O.K.
The Feed will be updated ever 60 minutes.
