Where in the triangle is "the" place to go for Specialized bikes? I found my next and probably last ride. 2007 Specialized Sirrus Sport.

I ride a Specialized that I bought from the Spin Cycle, in Cary.
I think it all depends on what part of town you are in, nice to have a shop that is convenient for stopping by for quick gear/brake adjustments, etc.

+1 for The Spin Cycle. I bought a Specialized Expedition Sport for my daughter and a Specialized Crossroads Elite and a Specialized Roubaix Elite for myself from them. They are great about service and taking the time to make sure the bike fits you.
-1 for The Spin Cycle but Ive already expressed my opinion of them elsewhere.

I had some real problems with them last year. I had hoped things might have improved but I guess not.

-1 for Spin Cycle. I have bought 2 Specialized bikes (Dolce and Sequoia) from them, and will not buy a bike there again.
Many plus points for All Star. I bought my first Specialized (heavy expedition) there 5 years ago, and I kick myself for buying bikes elsewhere. My husband patronizes this shop, and bought his pricey mountain bike there a few years ago. The store does good repair work, and Don and Jason try hard to explain things to me. They started out assuming that I was as techie as my husband, but now they explain without talking down to me.
I have also been happy with the All Star on Falls of Neuse Rd. My husband and I bought our tandem there.

I contacted All Star by whole foods. They seemed more interested in selling me what they had rather than what I wanted. I ended up going to Clean Machine on US70. They went through a difficult time when they first moved out there. Some staff has changed and I like it a lot more now.
Is that The Bicycle Chain now?

The Clean Machine in Carrboro & The Bicycle Chain (in Raleigh, Durham & Chapel Hill) are all the same mini-chain. The R, D & CH store names were changed early 2006 or late 2005.
The Raleigh, Durham & Chapel Hill stores were originally independent w/ other names. The Raleigh store used to be in Pleasant Valley shopping center and was "The Bike Rack". Don't recall the original names of D & CH stores.
So, "is The Bicycle Chain The Clean Machine"? I guess it depends on what the meaning of "is" is. I believe all bikes for all four shops are assembled @ the Raleigh (US-70) "annex" on the side of the shop.

I miss the old Bike Rack. It was much closer to my house.
What I meant was "Isnt it called The Bicycle Chain now?"

funny thing, I think the above "Isn't" is what my mind really interpretted even though I did the Bill Clinton thing with is is.
I just thought maybe some others would benefit from the "enhanced" (read: "long-winded") response.
