Today is Jay’s birthday. We were going to surprise him and have cake after the ride in Garner, but since he didn’t have time to prepare and verify a shorter route, we are changing plans.

Please join us to celebrate Jay’s birthday and all the hard work he has done on the forum. He has revised a lot of things specifically to meet our needs. Lets all come out and wish him a happy birthday and thank him for our new improved method of communication.

Be careful with directions. Google gave different directions than Yahoo. Yahoo matched the location the hostess described after I added a starting location. The hostess said it used to be called High Beams. It is near Regazzi and Golden Corral. AutoBell Car Wash is across the street.

If anyone has better directions, please send them!

I have another group drinking commitment at 6pm at the Carolina Ale House in Cary, so most likely won't join you.

That's the place that was the pseudo-Hooters, right? I met someone for lunch there once, seemed like a decent sports bar - lots of TV all over the place, etc.
