Zonda has done it again talked me into a ride I am looking forward to this ride rolling hills and new places to see. I even got the cue sheets to print. Thats a good sign for me. I even finially got the tredclimber to work after replacing the mother board and found out that I dont weight enough for that part of it to work, I had hoped to use it for and added workout for cycling and karate but oh well I will use it as a tredmill

I'm going to go do the MS150 kickoff ride, so won't see you for this one.

Watch out, I picked up my Gyros jersey today - which as we know adds 2mph to the speed of any rider! :)

Aha! But I also have one so the playing field has been leveled :)
Notice the spiffy Triangle Cycling ad on the back?

Speaking of start time, what is a good start time? It's supposed to be 80 degrees Saturday. Is 9:00 too early to start?

You and I are neighbors, but I can’t imagine having to worry about getting someone else to and from a ride. I can barely keep up with all my bike stuff and myself. Also, I go to the gym before rides, go eat with the group or run errands afterwards, so I like that flexibility. Sorry I can’t help you out.

No sweat Zonda. I need to home by 2:00. Working backward I need to be done riding by 1:00. I can probably go 40+ miles if we leave at 9:00. I'm in!
Anyone doing the 40 mile route? I'm on the fence about this one. Participation is looking pretty low.

Jay, looks like Charley plans to ride 40.
Let's set the start time at 9:00 and hope Tracy wanted an earlier start rather than later. Since we ran into traffic out there last time, an earlier start is better.

Zonda,
I'm gonna do the 40 mile ride tomorrow instead of the MS 150 ride. It's too far to drive for only a 31 mile ride.

all that whining about not being able to use his GPS, getting lost, not able to see the painted markers in the road - I think you are giving him a real complex.

Darn radiator leak! I just drove to Augusta GA and back yesterday (650 miles) and when I went out to the driveway this morning there was a big puddle under the car. I guess I'm lucky it didn't $%#@ the bed on the way! Anyhow it'll be fixed around noon or 1:00pm.

Sounds like a pretty good crowd.
I coulda probably got you a radiator for cheap or free.. next time send me an email or something. I do a lot of tuning work on Fastlane Performance's dyno and they got tons of junkers hanging around.

21.9 mph. Oh BTW my max speed was 77.5.

Great ride today!
I didn't start off well, felt kinda bad, no let's re-phrase that, I felt terrible; chest hurt, hacking the lung up, dizzyness...guess it might've had something to do with not eating supper last night  and no PB & honey sandwich this morning. I did have half of a ham & egg biscuit from Bo's tho. Gotta get that grease in
Finally made it to the store/auto mart and ate a Snickers and had some more Gatorade/water. Almost drank too much, cause I could feel it sitting on my stomach not long after we left. Thought it wasn't gonna stay down...
I did start to feel better the longer we rode and I'm glad I didn't bail after the first 10 miles or so. I seriously thought about it tho.
Anyway, it was a great ride and I ended up doing better than I thought I would considering how I felt initially.

Great ride. I could have gone another 20. Good company. I got to chase everyone including Zonda for at least a little while. I rescued 3 turtles for certain squishing, at the base of the longest hill on the ride. Loved the look on Jay's face when Zonda passed him.
Thanks to everyone.

Yea, that was a good one! You go girl!
Well, I was trying to be courteous and wait at all the turns and next thing you know, she goes blazing by while we're all just standing there waiting on her. Separatists try to have good manners and etiquette and then that happens.. WTF
