Crits / Road Races in NC

Hey all, I am looking to get involved with road bike racing and crits. Just applied for USA Cycling license, but am having a hard time finding races. I've found a couple races in the next couple months, but is there a good web site to go to beyond USACycling.org and BikeReg.com for local road races, etc?

i'm pretty sure that both The Spin Cycle (http://www.thespincycle.com/) and Cycling Spoken Here (http://cyclingspokenhere.com/) maintain event calendars on their respective sites also.

i don't know what happened with the usacycling site. a week or so ago they had a listing of races in nc.

the only events that can be found on bikereg are those that use bikereg as their online registration service.

active.com is another online registration service that is used by a lot of races. that's what we use for carolina cup in the fall. but, they too will only have those events that are using their service for online registration.

i just now typed in "north carolina bicycle racing" and did a search. there's a ton of links to various racing clubs in nc, most of which probably have an event calendar.
