Anyone doing this ride? I have done the 5k a couple times with them and really enjoyed it. This looks like a good ride they just started this year.

Looks like a good time. I've never ridden up in Louisburg - I'm sure it is nice countryside.

and only $15, so the price is right!

We will have a full car but my wife and I are planning on doing the ride. We have done the 5K road race for the past few years and always had a good time and is organized well. Looks like they have the bike ride pretty well also.

I work up in Franklin Co. about once a week. The terrain there is consistent with northern Wake Co. (i.e. good hills). Very pretty too. One of the organizations the fundraiser benefits, Alliance Medical Ministry, cares for patients who work but cannot afford health insurance. Looks interesting.

Cheers,

FYI - the registration fee is $15 is paid by Saturday 4/21, then it goes up. You can pay online but there is a service fee ($2-3 I think) or you can mail a check in and just pay $15. Brian and are now officially registered for the 50 mile loop.

I just signed up for the 50 as well, took the easy way out and paid the $3 convenience fee for online registration.
