Jay has given me a new toy he received for review to evaluate - a talking GPS

It's an interesting concept - the box talks to you instead of requiring you to look down at it for information. It calls out workout information to you at intervals you set, based on mileage, time, etc. Handy and interesting idea.
Right now the big gaps I see are - no built in HRM, and you can't load routes into it. Not every sport needs to load in routes, but for a cycling GPS I think that is pretty important. If possible, I'd like to be able to do everything in one appliance and I thing the Edge 305 might be better suited for that.
It's an interesting gadget, but I'm not sure that I will be using it long term - I have my eyes on a Garmin Edge 305. But you never know. Stay tuned, and I'll report over the next couple of weeks.
