Well, I've finally got all the parts for my new build!! And today, Jay and I went to Sanford to get my new bike built up. I think it's a beauty! And, it's not as heavy as the tank I was riding.

So, here's what I've got:
-2006 Fuji Team RC, size 52cm
-Fuji Fork
-SRAM Rival Shifters
-SRAM Rival FD & RD
-SRAM Rival Brakes
-SRAM Rival Compact Crankset, (50/34, 170)
-Shimano Dura-Ace 10sp Chain
-Shimano Ultegra 12-27 cassette
-FSA 90mm OS 150 stem
-FSA K-Force Lite Seatpost
-FSA Wing Pro Handlebars, 42cm
-Look KeO Carbon pedals
-American Classic CR-420 Wheelset
-Maxxis Courchevel Tires
-(Training Wheels) Ksyrium Elite wheels
-(Training Tires) Michelin ProRace2 tires, red
-Terry Butterfly Carbon, white
-Cages, none yet
-Forte White bar tape
-Fizik Microtex White bar tape (on order to replace Forte tape)
-Fizik Bar Gel

Final weight, with pedals is 16.57 pounds! The tank was 19.5 or 19.75 pounds.

I'll post one picture here, the rest can be seen in the gallery.

... The tank was 19.5 or 19.75 pounds.... TANK? Well, perception is reality. But that svelt 20 lb. Pilot hardly qualifies as a tank; not when others are riding comfort bikes or mountain bikes or ... .

You may need to carry some lead weights when you go Asheville to keep from flying off the top of the mtn.

The Pilot was actually closer to 21#s and it didnt fit her worth a crap. She's gone from a 47 Trek to a 52 Fuji.

I was impressed with how nice that bike turned out personally.

svelt?? that's a new one for me in describing the Pilot after having ridden it for a year. this fuji is a dream to ride. and, most of the riders I will be riding with Saturday won't be on comfort or hybrid bikes...whatever.

all i know is the fuji rides and fits a hell of a lot better than what i was riding.

"and it didn't fit her worth a crap" - that is a problem! No amount of being light, etc. can fix a bad fit.

cool ride Karen. Now I know why you didn't want to get it out in with rain. Enjoy.
