Thought I'd share this with you guys since most of you don't read BikeForums.
A while back someone posted that they had started using an OTC creme available at Walmart and most other places as a chamois creme. I bought some, tried it once and put it away. Anyway, I ran out of Bodyglide and hadn't had a chance to get back out and get any so I dug this stuff out and started using it again. After a few uses, I've pretty much decided that this stuff rocks as a chamois creme.
The stuff is called Queen Helene's Cocoa Butter Creme and is available in the health and beauty section of most places. It's like $5.00 for a whole vat of this stuff. If you aren't stingy with application, it does a great job and seems to last through even long rides.
Here's a photo so you know what you're looking for.

Next time you need some chamois creme, pick up a vat and try it out.
