View Full Version : Sunday 5/13 Recovery Ride - Garner
I'm planning to do a slow recovery ride on Sunday just to get some miles in. Probably 35 miles, same route that we did on the last Sunday ride. If anyone is interested in coming, start time will be in the afternoon, 1:00 or later if need be. I'd like to miss all the church traffic.

Recovery Ride??? What's that??? We don't do no stinkin' recovery rides - it's hammertime or nothing for the Separatist Spokes!
It could be a Mother's Day Ride tho...

Winds are not looking great for tomorrow so I may end up canceling this.

Well, with 15-17mph winds predicted for tomorrow, I think you can mark me off the list. I'll just have to go to the gym.

I've got relatives coming to visit, won't be riding again until Wednesday OMV.

looks like i'm not riding for at least a few days. i've got a tendon/ligament or something messed up in my right knee (behind knee). hurts to walk or bend it. been icing it this afternoon. it was really hurting yesterday, but i tried to ignore it. then i rode today at a non-recovery pace...
Im gonna ride from TGB tomorrow, pace to be determined, distance to be determined. Bare minimum, Big Boys Dont Cry route.
Prolly 1:30ish

i think i'm gonna have to pass on this one, sorry. you know i would if i wasn't hurt. knee is still painful to bend. might be seeing the doctor come monday. have fun, wish i could ride too :(
