RSVP by Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. with your choice of ride pace if you want to be put in a riding group.
When: Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m.

Meet in parking lot between Wachovia Bank and Bistro Restaurant. Try to avoid parking near the bank.

Distance:
Any distance. Ride ˝ your time and U-turn, finish at sunset.
Pace:
10-12 mph beginners
13-18 mph
No drop. Me, Michelle or Rick will ride behind the slowest rider. Michelle will lead from the back this week. There are several subgroups for ride paces and distances.

Slow Spokes join the fast Oh Melo Velo (http://ohmelovelo.dnsalias.org/) riders to lead a slow group. See Ed's website Bicycling 2007 section.
Beginners are welcome to join this ride.
Please arrive in time to prepare your bike to leave promptly at 6:00 p.m. If you arrive late, David or Ed will leave cue sheets on their car back window under the wiper blade.
All riders should carry proper equipment in case they have a flat (spare tube, pump or CO2 cartridge).
It is strongly recommended that you carry your driver’s license and health insurance card in case of an emergency. You may also want to program your cell phone with an emergency contact number under the name “ICE” In Case of Emergency.

I plan to be there. Hopefully we can get some rides in this week without the threat of rain or high winds. I will ride with any group up to 16.5 mph.

I'll be there. Sorry, had company visiting the last few days so didn't reply earlier. I'll start out riding with OMV, take a wrong turn and then join up with the 13-15 group, catch up to the 16+ group, then get a flat and finish the ride with Michelle. :)

Got my bike back this afternoon. New Fuji Team RC (56) frameset and new Easton handlebars. I will ride with the 13-15 group today. Just going to take it easy. Have not been cycling for 10 days or more.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I had planned to do the Ride of Silence event, but I left work late, got stuck in traffic, and didn't get back over there in time. Kristian had everything together and was on her way to the OMV ride and got a flat tire, so I'm fairly sure someone didn't want either one of us riding yesterday...:(
I haven't disappeared, so I'm gonna see about this Saturday's ride. I may have to bail on that one too, since I'm moving into a new apartment and they want me out of the old one by 12. We'll see.
