Hi All,

Here is a slideshow from a Norwegian newspaper's coverage of the
yearly Trondheim-Oslo race/ride:

The pics show both normal people, as well as the red, white, and blue
Rye team who won the 540km race in an astonishing 13:41 for an average
speed of 39.5km/h. Given that the weather conditions were the worst in
recent memory this acheivent is remarkable.

Excellent photos. I love the two valkyrie-helmeted tifosi with their picnic
table!

Normally there are a fair number of spectators up on the high
mountain, but this year with the crap weather most stayed home. Those
nutters made up for the lack of numbers with their great style. That
air-horn and their shouts sure helped brighten my day when I rode
past!
