You will not find this quote anywhere in the media. It's from my
email inbox. I wrote an email suggesting that they discuss an amnesty
period. Here was his reply:
"I have already suggested to the UCI that they are in such a mess that
a South Africa-like Truth and Reconciliation policy might be the only
way out. The UCI has never been in a "listening mode" and appears to
be even less so at the moment. They have rejected any suggestion of
WADA's help in organizing a Come To Jesus summit to consider what to
do. (Kind of a Tough Love approach to a currently insoluble
problem.)"
Which do you think it is:
- UCI wants to be even tougher against dopers than WADA?
- UCI says "what dopers?"?
- UCI says "**** WADA"?
