On page 35 of the endurance magazine is a nice article about Le Tour de Femme.

Sandy is mentioned, but not by name, as one of the riders who was having chemotherapy. "She was awe inspiring and definitely embodied the spirit of the event."

I'm the one who blabbed that to the event organizer and Steve L. because I knew we would be riding slow and wanted the ride sweep to understand why. We finished up riding 31.4 miles at 11 mph with a chilly temperature of 47 degrees, brrrhhh!
