but since armstrong American team that went in Europe to compete have a very
very bad reputation, they seem all junkies and snob

Of course they have a bad reputation - they never tested positive unlike the
French teams.

Both were.
Poulidor never, as I know.
It explain why, the french hated Anquetil so much, and Poupou was so popular
:
"Toute sa carrière sera marquée par cette apparence de mépris et de dédain,
source d'un malentendu effroyable qui a prononcé le divorce entre le public
et lui, un public qui le siffle à l'arrivée du Tour 1961. Mais Anquetil
encaisse en silence, et reçoit les coups où la pudeur, la modestie et la
timidité prennent toute la place, là où il n'y a aucune trace de dédain"
unlike the

Say, aren't you one of those guys who murdered anyone that looked like
royalty - that is - anyone that took a bath?

How many of your French riders put in 6+hours of hard riding from
November till the racing season and ride all the TdF climbs mulitiple
times, no matter what the weather? That was one of Armstrong's
methods. I read an interview with Bernard Hinault a while back and he
said the French riders weren't winning the Tour because they simply
didn't train hard enough.

Anquetil have never been appreciated, he looked a little like armstrong for
his elegant and cold manner, but his life was too short, I remember the last
summer he was speaker on TV for the tour, he just said one day that he had
to go for the hospital and we never saw him after.

Hilnault's diffinition of "hard enough" may include illigal substances.

Cofidis officials, announced they will forgo their right to ask for analysis
of a 'B' sample, also accepted the Tour's "invitation" to withdraw from the
race, becoming the second team in 24 hours to exit France's national tour.

A few moments later, the Cofidis team announced that the entire team would
withdraw from the Tour de France upon request of their main sponsor as an
