Test rode her with the ultegra crap she was already wearing and didnt like the way it shifted, didnt like that it was a double, which was fine with me, i wanted to keep my triple, i love my componants anyways, and wanted to save the extra loot for a hot set of wheels, which i got so, double yay.

This is my new baby, my sweet and sassy Blue RC4, dressed up nicely in her big sister's Shimano 105 stuff, and a set of sexy Rolf Prima Vigor RS's. Rode her a couple times this week on the old wheels, but took her for her true inaugural spin tonight on a whopping 5 mile loop up and down some hills around Wendell. Rides like a dream. I'm going to love her long time. :D

very nice! my only suggestion would be to get a set of pedals which are blue or maybe a set of ultegra's (which Jay seems to really like) or the look keo's.

otherwise looks like a very nice ride. congratulations.

Nice ride. I think the VK bottles are what make it though.

So, Erica, how has that bike been treating you? Does it ride really well?

man, this bike is a dream come true. i dont regret a single penny spent on her. shes wonderful and i love her. does she ride well? i'd say so! averaged 18mph over 109 miles at the ms150 last weekend and felt prolly about 85% fine the next morning, 100% fine by monday. handles well, steers great, my numb hands arent numb anymore. shes a dream to climb hill on, which i found out tonight at the CSH ladies ride. high house road didnt slap me down. im absolutely thrilled with this bike. its going to be a long time before she gets traded in. she even gets to sleep inside. LOL

cool. my knee has really been bothering me quite a bit since i started doing the OMV rides the first of Sept. i'm gonna baby it for the next 2.5wks so that i can do my mtn ride. then if i need to do something else with it, i will.

i'm glad you like the bike! you mean the other bike slept outside?????

lol the trek slept in the garage. now, the bones of the trek (frame and ugly wheelset) sleep in the garage. Blue is too good for that.

whats up with the knee? bursitis acting up again?

i don't know what's up with the knee. i have a bruise on the front, and cannot remember hitting it. could be the OMV rides of late. that's pretty much when it started bothering me. not really the same area as the bursitis. i'll baby it till after the mtn ride, then see if i need to do something else.
