Van Impe was a climber and not many climbers win the Tour. It takes a
combination of course and conditions.
Eddy was a murderer and could have beaten anyone on a bicycle. But he
is once is ten generations. Belgium is a tiny country and hence will
only find a Tour winner once a century if statistics are anything to
judge.
