Flexy Thomson X2?

I bought a new bike last month and as part of the fixing process I tried a
few stems. I settled on a 120 and they had to order the Thomson X2 I
wanted. I used a Easton EA50 as a sub till the Thomson arrived.

They swapped the stems yesterday and on today's commute I am noticing quite
a lot of flex in the bar compared to the Easton.

I flex a good thing? I don't feel confident on descents. Why would the
Thomson be flexy? Would the X4 be better or should I be looking elsewhere?

I can't recognize your experience with the X2 as flexy. I wigh 90-98kg
and i have full confidence in my X2 witch is holdimg a FRM webbar32.

In my expericene the X2 the most stable stem out there. Witch
handlebar do you have?

The bar is a Zepp 3t oversize. The fork is a Seven 5E, CK headset and my
weigh is 155 pounds.

I guess the problem is your handlebar, the X2 doesn't apply pressure
in at the center of the bar - perhaps your bar needs that in order not
to flex.
