Looking for way to mount taillight

Hello all,

I'm looking for ideas about what might be available that would allow me to
mount a taillight that I already own to a seatstay. I could do some
modifications myself if I could find some type of decent quality aluminum,
steel, or plastic thumbscrew type of clamp - ideally with some type of
swivel that could mount quickly (and be removed quickly) to the seatstay.

Does anyone know what type of thing might work for this purpose?

O-ring, p-clamp, zip tie, JB weld (only use with Pabst for
authenticity)-it all depends on the original mount and its
possibilities.

Have you stopped in at your local bike shop and asked? IME, they
frequently have extra mounting bits for reflectors, lights, etc.
either for the asking, or for cheap. It should be an easy problem to
solve.

Cateye sells mounts for seatstays for it's taillights. You didn't say
what brand/model of tailight it is.
