Host Housing or rental?

Hi all,

I have still had some difficulty securing a position in the NC area from NH and my contract at my current job is ending this week. I would like to come down to NC for a few weeks to find a temporary position/apartment and was wondering if any of you know of any host housing in the area or cheap apartment rentals that I can stay at for 1-2 weeks or longer, I'm more than willing to pay for some housing if available.

If anyone wants to just put me up for a few days I'd appreciate that as well, to at least give me a few days to get my bearings and find a place to stay. I was going to just camp out for a while but there's a fire ban in NC right now and I'd imagine it being pretty cold at night without a fire.

have you checked into the many hotels (La Quinta, Microtel) in the area? lots of them have weekly rates for business commuters. there is also a bed and breakfast in Wendell on Buffalo St, but im pretty sure they are kinda pricey. Its a nice house tho!
