Depends. if you're going to reply to a long and winded dictation, or
include everyone's response as well, then I really don't like having to
scroll through it all to get to what you're saying. Then again, it's
nice to know what you're commenting on before reading the comment.
So if your post is a general response to the ENTIRE original, top
posting is probably best, but if you're making a comment on a SPECIFIC
statement within it, then I prefer the original statement above your
post.
This is what I do, as my reader doesn't automatically include the
original with the reply. I have top copy paste, then "smallify" it
manually. So it's easier to just snip out the pertinent part, less work.
