They invited DiLusional to the Giro route party!

It's nice to see the organizers of the Giro taking the anti-doping thing
seriously by inviting a CURRENTLY SUSPENDED RIDER - a rider who was
banned from racing the world championships because of doping...a rider
who was DQ'ed from the No. 1 Pro Tour spot.

Way to go.

And I see right next to him (sic, photo caption) is that bald-headed
doper Pantani wannabee Garzelli. Cool.

Maybe the ASO will invite Landis and Riis to this year's route unveiling
ceremony and then wonder why society and sponsors laugh at the ****ing
sport and the people in it.

It's very nice to see that you know what you're talking about. NOT!

Agreed. Sometimes I think the sport insiders are the last ones to get
it...

Cool! Let's just go with summary executions upon conviction. None of
this namby-pamby penalty/rehab ****. No chances! It's BIKE RACING

Dude,

DiLusional is a currently suspended rider and was DQ'ed from the Pro
Tour while ranked No. 1. There is no way he should have gotten an
invite to a Grand Tour route ceremony given the righteous attitude the
GT promoters have taken against the UCI.

Also, do you know who suspended DiLusional? The Italian cycling
federation. Not WADA. Not the UCI. Not CONI. But the El Camino Guido
Club itself suspended him.

In order for that to happen, DuLusional had to be guilty as sin.

I will say this: DiLusional will likely win his CAS appeal because there
was no direct evidence to suspend him for doping. But if he loses, he
will get a 2 year suspension (and not 3 months in the winter like he
currently got).

But still, you don't invite him because he's as dirty as they come and
everyone in the sport knows it regarldess of whether thhey can prove it
or not. Same with Valverde. Valverde can play his little Mr. Clean
game all he wants. But nobody believes him.
