View Full Version : Crazy communist bike-riders

Mind your own business you collectivist creeps.

If I don't want to teeter around on a two-wheeler like some idiotic,
overgrown child, it's none of your business.

Why don't you keep your sunburnt noses out of other people's affairs?

There is nothing more annoying than someone who insists on having their own
way all the time.

Creeps.

I hear you, brotha! Those crazy communist bike-riders are almost as
bad as those blathering Dolly-Parton-big-breasted-bimbo groupies.

Either way, I hate them both.

Idiots!

INDEFINITE PRONOUN ALERT!

Who is "you"?

Another indefinite pronoun.

And yet another indefinite pronoun.

Yes there is. Believe me.

I'm not a Communist, but my mom was.

Hmmm ... maybe I /am/ a Communist,
if it's matrilineal.

Maybe I'm also a piano teacher (but
I wouldn't be a very good one.)

I'm a crazy bike rider, anyways.

The most communist things I see from horizon to horizon are the US fed
and the Bush plan to bail out criminally retarded lenders. Only 17
cuts left, communists.

If you would conduct your affairs in private instead of on the public
roadway perhaps normal people would cease to find you such a

My first thought, after reading this, was that this poor fool had
gotten himself subscribed to a Usenet-email relay somewhere, and
immediately assumed that we ourselves were somehow responsible for
our articles showing up in his email inbox. However, his postings'
headers claim that he is using Xnews, a "real" news client -- if
that's the case, then there really is no imaginable excuse for such
a display...

As a linguistic aside, I've heard the term "bellignorant" proposed
for such cases, intended as an amalgamation of "belligerent" and
"ignorant": someone whose lack of understanding in some area does
not drive him to seek a more complete knowledge of the subject, or
else cause him to keep his mouth shut, as might be expected of any
rational person. Instead, the bellignorant individual is
*incapable* of recognizing his own lack of understanding. When
something doesn't go his way he immediately, irrationally, and
embarrassingly lashes out against those whom he wrongly deems
responsible.

Bellignorant, adj.:
1. Eager to attack or confront on account of one's own
ignorance

Bellignorance, n.:
1. A belligerent sort of ignorance

"Mark"'s (no relation) post, for example, is a textbook example of
bellignorance. A more well-publicized example is the following:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuttle,_Oklahoma#CentOS_Incident

Typical characteristics of a bellignorant communication:

1. Excessive and confusing use of personal pronouns, as Tom pointed
out above.

2. Empty threats to contact some authority, whether or not said
authority would actually have any jurisdiction over the matter
(FBI, Google, etc.).

3. An unprovoked hostile attitude even after the individual has
been made fully aware of his own mistake. (The bellignorant
individual will never issue an apology.)

4. Childish name-calling.

I think it's a very useful term that fills an important niche in the
English language. Maybe we should start a petition to
Merriam-Webster, Houghton Mifflin, the Oxford University Press, and
others for its inclusion into the dictionary?
