View Full Version : workout video
Now that it is cold and raining most of my biking is on an indoor
trainer. I was interested in buying a work out video to watch on my
TV while I am doing indoor training. Any suggestions?

although this may sound inappropiate, you need something to take your
mind away from the pain - try some babes in bikinis workout videos-
just enough temptation and titilation to rest your eyes when you need
it.

Fred,
I try watching classic races. while I train.
For workout series, try "Cycling Fitness Results" series, it closely
follows Joe Friel's training methods described in his book, training
bible. They work pretty good for me.

I'd go for that... I know a guy who used to watch TDF recording, he
used to run off his rollers as they banked corners. Babes are much
safer.

Yeah, somehow I'd rather watch the Tour if I'm captive to the indoor
trainer. That's why I sold the rollers for a mag trainer; couldn't
watch racing on TV and totally ignore the instinctive impulse to corner.
Overall, I think it was a good decision. Rollers /are/ good for balance
and pedaling form, but after 30+ years in the saddle, I think I've got
the balance thing worked out.
