I'm thinking of treating myself to a nice set of wheels and like traditional
sets. I was looking at a set of Zipp Team CSC wheels which use Zipp
95/220 hubs. Another similiar choice would be have a set built by Excel
Sports or local wheelbuilder of similiar type but using DT 240S hubs.

Any thoughts on the two specific products?
thanks to all . . Rick

So we are talking about traditional race wheels?
Campagnolo hubs, carbon fiber tubular rims.

Non-racing traditional wheels would be
Phil Wood hubs, 36 hole Ambrosio rims,
25 mm Michelin tires.

I'd go with DT hubs between those two. Zipp hubs can be good but they
seem to have QC issues.

New Dura Ace or Record hubs would be a better option IMO.

Why do you think that? Price? I have both DT240S hubs and Record hubs.
Although Record hubs are a joy to work on, the DT hubs are better sealed.
