I'd love some additional information about this ride. Are their cue sheets online? I didn't see anything on the cue sheets forum (http://www.trianglecycling.com/showthread.php?t=18164) but I may have missed it.

Cue sheets for this ride are not on Triangle Cycling. However, we have several cue sheets for rides from CSH. You might be able to get a cue sheet if you email or send a Private Message to CSHone (http://www.trianglecycling.com/member.php?u=519) or ilivestrong (http://www.trianglecycling.com/member.php?u=522)

The two local bikes shops recently joined Triangle Cycling and may post cue sheets in the Cue Sheet section, but that is up to each shop.

I think the shop has cue sheets, you can email them at Steven@cyclingspokenhere.com. Steve Levine is the owner and the Cary store is managed by Dan. Both are great guys and will be more than helpful to answer your questions. I have tried several times to create a cue sheet on Bike Route Toaster (http://bikeroutetoaster.com/ - if anyone has another program that may work please let us know) but I cannot get it to map correctly since it is a out and back route over some of the same roads. Please note the 16-18 pace/50 miles group is no drop (just let someone know you are new) and we will not leave you alone. The faster 20+ will drop you if you don't keep up. Hope this helps and maybe see you out there.

Hey Dan, I tried to edit your post to provide a link to your profile to send an email rather than showing your email to spammers. You will get tons of spam.

Change your User CP, Edit Options so that you can receive email through this site and I'll provide a link and hide your email address.;)

Did this ride just start up because it sure sounds different than the Saturday ride I did there a while back. Way faster than the controlled pace and they didnt worry about dropping anyone.. and yes, it was supposed to be with the 16-18 MPH group.

i remember that ride, jay. got my ass handed to me. it was a toughy and youre right....way faster than 16-18mph and making sure nobody got dropped wasnt part of the agenda. LOL

would love to start doing this ride here and there if its truly a no drop 16-18mph ride....after a couple weeks of riding and reconditioning ye ol' winter legs to be back on the bike. LOLOLOL

Erica/Jay - I did not show up for the ride due to weather (I am a winter wimp), what usually happens when the weather is bad or if there is only a few riders both groups (16-18 and 20+) will leave together and split up once we get out of the city (Apex). The problem with this method is that the slower pace (16-18) tries to keep up with the 20+ people instead of splitting off and reforming to a 2nd group. When this happens, people start to drop off. Standard procedure, (for the 16-18 group) which is led by myself and another lady who will break off the back of the 20+ riders. Sorry for the mix up, and what happened to you is not the norm. I will be there Saturday, look for the big guy on a blue trek and we will take care of you. Thanks ***P.S. - There will be NO ass handing LOL

This was a while back.. back in the summer.

I even called the day before we showed up and was assured it was going to be a controlled pace ride. It wasnt.

Ill have to come out and ride it again at some point.

Thanks Doug! That was funny. I'm sure there will be others who will now join in.

heya.. just to add a bit to your weekly choices, I lead a Sat. morning ride out of the CSH Apex location. No drop policy, 32miles, 9:30a leaving the parking lot, Please be able to keep at least an average of 16mph. The only time there will not be a group to ride is if the weather is ridiculous.

I plan on joining one of these rides this Saturday; probably the Cary ride since it's a bit closer. Looks like it's going to be frigid.
