it looks stapleton picked up some discounted jerseys from performance
and had them screened with a design he made in MS Paint.

I've always wondered why a cyclist would go to a lot of trouble working out
his arms.

Now I know. Lead-weighted gloves that take a lot of effort to lift when you
do your victory salute.

He didn't so much make the design as butcher the Northwave logo.

You underestimate the horror of the sale-rack Performance
jersey designs.

I don't mind it. It's minimalist, which is OK, or maybe means that
Stapleton hasn't succeeded in rounding up as many sponsors
as clutter the Lotto jersey in the background.

But it doesn't matter. Any jersey looks good in a victory salute.
Okay, any jersey but Castorama.

What makes you think a cyclist works out his arms? And you better not

That's actually a great looking jersey. Most if not all pro jerseys
today have complicated micro-designs that do not translate well to
spectators watching a peloton go by.

Jerseys with simple macro-designs such as La vie Claire, System U,
Mapei, Rabobank are much better.

I like this Team High Horse design.

Its funny that some folks think that the logos on the jerseys should
be designed such that they're visible to the spectator. Unless your
rider is doing matched sprints, old school-style complete w/
trackstand, then he better NOT be going slowly enough that the
spectators can read the damn logos.

Jersey designs should be done in such a way that the logos are readily
visible in finish line photos such as the one linked by the OP or in
podium presentation pix.

Everything else is just a blur.

yeah, those shots of the peloton zipping through fields of sunflowers

Hey Party Boy....99% of the time, the camera is travelling at the same
speed as the cyclists they are filming, maybe 10 feet from them at most.
Why did you pick the 1% when it's not?

Doesn't matter where the camera is, what matters is what's being shown
to us.

85% of the time we see Phil, Tom, and Bob's ugly mugs while they
yammer on about who knows what. 10% of the time we see shots of the
peleton from afar. 4% of the time we MAY see a rider up close. The
remaining 1% of the time we see podium shots or replays of the finish
from the overhead view.

So when you watch the Tour de France on Versus, you're telling me 85% of
the time your TV screen shows the commentators and not the cyclists?

Dude, you are legally blind because that's simply not the case.
