Wonder if someone could help me out. I have loooked everywhere that I can think of for a decent lightweight jacket and can't find one that will fit me anywhere. I know that most cyclewear is made for those on the, slim/fit, side of the scale, but there has got to be another "Big Boned" person out there that has run into this same black hole. I have had good luck with Performance in regards to jerseys but their jackets only go to XX-L and just to dang tight through the shoulders to ride in.
Thanks for any suggestions
Izumi XXL stuff is probably the largest cut stuff youre going to find. I dont know how big you are but that should fit you.
The problem youre going to run into now is that the winter season is essentially over and most places wont be restocking. You might want to try The Spin Cycle for a XXL Izumi Vagabond.. they had them when I was shopping for mine a couple of years ago and no one else did.
You might also want to check out Colorado Cyclist. Theyre closing out a lot of the Izumi stuff. I just bought a Gaivia jacket there about $50.00 off.

Mt Borah (http://mtborah.com/) has their "Borah Plus" line with sizes up to 4XL. The Borah Plus Gannett Jacket (http://mtborah.com/index.asp?CompID=44&action=ViewProduct&ProductID=352&CategoryID=64&ProductColor=Blue&ProductSize=2xl) comes in 2XL, 3XL, and 4XL. The Spin Cycle carries Mt Borah. When I first started back to cycling and weighed 90 pounds more than I do now, that was the only line that would fit me. Most of the Mt Borah line is geared towards the mountain bike crowd, but they do have a limited number of items for large sized road riders.

Thanks for the tip Jay, I was there yesteday with no luck.
Grab yourself a Gavia from CC and see how that fits. You can always return it but for the next 6-8 weeks, that should be the jacket you need. If it doesnt fit, return shipping isnt that much when youre saving $50.00 on the jacket to begin with.

Another possibility is Velowear (http://www.velowear.com/category.aspx?cat=CAT-TOPS-MENS-OUTERWEAR). They have a thermal and, a windshell jacket which go to "XXXL". They send a prepaid return label with all their merchandise so, if it doesn't fit you can get a full refund or, exchange per your preference.

Thanks for the suggestions guys I will look at them all.
By the way Jay, I am 6'1 270 lbs. so even 2x will be problems if it is race/pro cut.
The Borah looks interesting, may work.
Thanks again!

Thanks again!I am 6'0" and was 265 pounds. The Borah 2XL used to fit me. Now that I am 180 pounds, the PI medium fits.
