There was a very nice article about Sheldon in today's Globe:

http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2008/02/08/homepsun_wisdom/

The Globe is Boston's largest paper, his picture was on the front page,
the main article (with large photo of his family) was on the front page
of the "City" section.

From the article: "According to Allen, Harriet Fell first noticed Brown
for the difficult-to-ride, fixed-gear bike he was peddling."
^^^^^^^^
I wonder if Sheldon was successful in selling the bicycle?

It is a testament to Sheldon's expansive persona as well as the
internet's capability to amplify renown that velonews.com,
bicycling.com, and a multitude other websites prominently featured
tributes.
