Cruel doubts were raised about the practicality of ice-velocipede
designs, so here's an example of common sense gone mad:

County, Washington. Obviously, he wasn't blowing hot air.

I bet it works better than the worm non-drive! I can only assume this is
a fairly silly solution to the traction problem.

Considering he filed that patent in 1915, I'd say his choice of
residence showed fortuitous timing.
