Inexpensive compact crank for old Klein

Anyone know if an FSA Vero compact crank or any other inexpensive compact
drank will work with the pressed in
square taper bottom bracket on a '96 Klein Quantum Pro. I believe the
original cranks
were square taper 8 speed 42/52 Ultegra.
