Is Michael Ball behind these? They look like Rock Racing gear.
What's that old phrase? 'All style and only enough substances to win'?

No, what "jim" should have written is:

Capitalization does matter.

It's just fashion. I have no problem with fashion that
doesn't pretend to be anything other than fashion.
Wheel stickers are more functional than, for example,
ceramic bearings, in the sense that wheel stickers perform
their advertised function, while ceramic bearings are
advertised to give a technical advantage that is essentially
fictitious in bicycle use.

The other benefit is that if you put these stickers on your
spare wheels and leave them in the pit at a cyclocross or
crit race, no one is going to confuse them or grab the
wrong wheels.

It is stranger than that:

When UNIX was first developed, it was a common practice for the
names of operating systems to consist of all upper case letters,
largely because many computer terminals at the time could not
produce lower case (i.e., small) letters. Although UNIX was
originally written as Unix (i.e., lower case except for the first
letter), the name was soon changed to the all-upper case version,
where it remains today, to conform to the naming convention of that
era.

http://www.linfo.org/unix_upper.html

Notice that they have worded that so it will read OK on a terminal that
only produces upper-case or if typed out by jim beam or a teenager.

Just make sure you NEVER confuse RiscOS with RISC OS, especially if
there are any RISC OS snobs around.
