I've been playing around with cyclistats recently (if you own a garmin you can import everything into cyclistats) and so far am liking the program a lot.

Anybody else using it?

One of the reports that you can run is 'average heart beats per mile' which is an interesting condition measure (lower = better). At least for me, it seems like a useful measure of my overall condition - you can see my condition last year (fairly flat) and then the big spike when I started riding again this year, tailing down to close to my average for last year again now after a few months riding... What other measures do you like to look at?

yep. been using cyclingstats for, oh, probably going on 2.5yrs now. some really great improvements since i first started using it. i haven't imported any of my garmin stuff tho...

what was your elevation change for the metric ride? for the 105mi i rode yesterday, motionbased showed something like 6200' +/- and TC showed 4600'+/-. i know both of these are incorrect...it seems that lately the elevation data has been way off...i'm wondering if i need to contact garmin about it??

"I've found that the device is accurate but when you upload to motionbased it adds about 35% more elevation on every ride. The data on the device stays "correct" it's just the motionbased information that's wrong. As you look at other rides of other folks you need to take that into account as well since the elevations will be inflated by the same percentage for their units"
