So you may want to stear clear of it for a while.
Alternatives:
Olive Branch Rd from Carpenter Pond Rd (or Leesville Rd) to NC-98,
Kemp Rd from Carpenter Pond Rd to NC-98.
edit: Apparently, in an unrelated matter, the bridge on Leesville Rd at/near the Wake/Durham Cnty line is about to begin a "re-construction" (or something) process. Probably not much point in taking Leesville Rd west of Hickory Grove Rd for a while; or from the other direction, east of Shady Grove.
