Good weather today made for a great ride and we had over 50 riders. Thanks to Kimerly Bryan for taking care of the SAG duties today. Please contact Martin if you haven't signed up to drive on one of our training rides in June, July and August. This coming Saturday, May 17, we will be riding the "Shoeheel" 33.8 mile route (this cue sheet has not yet been posted on our web site). This route is similiar to the one we rode today with changes in roads after we leave the rest stop and also includes the 2 mile loop on Southwick Ave. off of Buffalo Road. Our SAG driver will be Lois Colbert and cel number is: 931-0019. Cue sheet is attached. Several of you have already raised several thousand dollars, way to go, keep up the good work, let's be the number one fund raising team again in 2008!

i know nobody really comes over here for anything but the cue sheets, but i just had to comment and say what an absolutely awesome ride this was yesterday! we had a nice turn out despite missing a pretty big chunk of regulars, as we had a return of some familiar faces (Progress Energy dudes) and even a new face or two.

i'm horrible with names, but the group i rode with was jay, tommy, the tall dude and the new dude. we hammered out to the rest stop with a 20.4mph average. how cool! headed into the wind on the way back and still managed to arrive back with a 19.4 for the day. Good work, guys! I had fun!

weather was great, the teamwork was great with nice, consistant pulls, specially on the way back. No Cletus today at the rest stop but Oreo seemed to be taking his place on the welcoming committee....either that or mooching for food, LOL!

all in all, it was a fantastic ride. everyone back at TGB looked happy and exuberant. we got lots of 'thanks!! i had a great time!' comments from folks as they were driving away. even the progress energy guy who had a hip replacement 7 weeks ago had a great time! hows that for awesome???

i look forward to seeing everyone else again next week :) and maybe ill bring a notepad to jot down some names, lol!

Here's a corrected course file.Thanks. I realized after I posted it that I had left the loop out but ran out of time and never got around to correcting it.

Glad you had a good time, see you next week! Hopefully as time goes on there will be more CP traffic on the board, just takes time.
