Weekend Re-Cap

Saturday was another perfect day for riding. Low 70s and not a cloud to be seen. We 47 riders turn out for our training ride. I have to repeat how great these numbers are. It shows the enthusiasm and dedication. Blood was shed as new rider Meg Hensley took a tumble while at a stop sign. Fortunately, it was just a badly skinned knee and she claims no other ill effects from it. Thank you to Lois Colbert for driving the SAG vehicle.

Like me, some of you won't be around for the holiday weekend. If you ride somewhere else, please take care of yourself and ride safely. See you all in a few weeks. Dave Holmes will be getting out next week's cue sheet in the next day or so.

hey gaines!
i had posted a little bit of a recap over on the route cue sheet thread as well. what an awesome ride we had this past weekend! even with a couple groups of folks playing in the mountains and at the beach, we still had an awesome turnout. i hope everyone had as good a time as i did. :)
