Rick - was just looking at this route and think it may be missing a turn. at Tally Ho Rd and Sanders it should be a LEFT, then almost immediately Bear Right on Sanders as Belltown continues straight?

Rick - was just looking at this route and think it may be missing a turn. at Tally Ho Rd and Sanders it should be a LEFT, then almost immediately Bear Right on Sanders as Belltown continues straight?Pugs, please read the ride announcement. Despite what electronic maps may say, the main corner in Stem is - according to the real world physical signposts - Tally Ho and Creedmoor / Main St.
Tally Ho is essentially a 'horseshoe" shape; actually, it is almost a closed circle. starting in Stem at Old-75, running through Stem, and takes a 90 degree left when it gets to Saunders Rd just before you get to the Belltown Rd intersection, and then Tally Ho loops again to terminate on Old-75 less than 1/2 mile from where it originated. If one looks at that real world intersection of Tally HO and Saunders carefully, and the nearby real world intersection of Belltown and Saunders, I think one sees that not all the road "improvements" the last 30 or 50 years are in the middle of RTP.
Fyi, in real space, the "straight" onto Belltown actually requires a left turn navigating the "road furniture" (as Phil Liggett refers to such stuff). It appears that sometime in the past, traffic engineers turned a "Y" intersection into a "T" intersection by making Belltown Rd curve hard at the last moments before reaching Saunders Rd.
The "bear Right" to get onto / stay on Saunders is likely to seem "straight" to a lot of people.
I include the following link to show where the route goes. Keep in mind the afore-mentioned road mis-labelling on this electronic map.

Btw, "veloroutes" has "links" for a GPS / Garmin type file for this route. I have no idea if the file is any good or not, as I do not have GPS / Garmin myself.
PM me if you would like more info.
