The offtopic discussions on RBT are so dull that I decided to make a
change in my wallpaper music, which is usually the classics with
special emphasis on vocal and medieval/early music; instead I played
pop music with vitality and passion:
Camillie O'Sullivan (an old demo disc which was later issued as A
LittleYearning, see http://www.camilleosullivan.com/ ) -- nobody can
touch her for Jacques Brel songs
The Bonzo Dog Band -- Funnier than Monty Python, better musicians than
the Beatles, a more driving rhythm than the Beach Boys (and that's
when they're sending up portentious dramatics!)
Elvis Presley -- The KIng, still astounding every time I play him
