View Full Version : Why watch the VS coverage multiple times?

It seems stupid, really. You watch the coverage in the morning, then again
late the same night. What, exactly, is it you're expecting to see that you
didn't before?
A hilarious Bob Roll piece, that's what. I hope it ends up on YouTube. Lots
of embarrassing moments from Bob's time on 7-11 during the 'Tour. Seriously
funny.

I don't know, but I do.
After the first watch, I keep in background while
I do other stuff.
That bit about "his people" the "Cro-Mags" was absolutely
hilarious.

Craig Hummer brings in an interesting perspective. seems knowledgeable and
works well with Bob. That in itself is worth spending a couple of hours in
the evening to just sit back and listen to their commentary.

Am I the only one wondering where this fabled highlights show is?
They pimp it during the full run in the morning, but TiVo claims to
know of no such thing.

Exactly. Some people listen to music. We listen to endless commercials for
Extenz and Enzyte. No, seriously, there's something comforting about hearing
people talking endlessly about cycling. It's as if it validates that you're
not crazy or something. The reality, of course, is the opposite. Do you
suppose people watch tennis matches over, and over, and over...

They watch a little ball go back and forth and back and forth over and
over, so yes, probably. They're crazy fookers.
