Hello,

I found the following link greatly inspiring -
http://www.instructables.com/id/Bicycle-Camera-Mount-for-under-%241/
-
and wondered if there are anycyclists that regularly take photographs
on thier rides.

If so, how do you do it (i.e. how do you carry the camera and what
kind of camera do you use?) ?

Thanks,
Cullen

There was a company at Taipei Cycle that has a camera mount for bicycles.

Not all rides. Special rides, usually organized rides of notably scenic
quality (is there any other type worth going on? ;-3) ) I carry a small
digital camera. For longer multi-day tours I carry my Nikon FE 35MM with
a couple of lenses, filters and a backpack tripod and flash.

The Digital I carry in my jersey pocket. For "Big Nicky" I have made a
mount that let's me ttach a small camera bag on my handlebars, where the
camera is relatively accessible.

You want a still camera or a video camera mount? Since I don't see the
point of a still camera mount, you might want to look into a 'steady-
cam' mount. If you search instructables, there's one on there as well.
Lot's of other still camera mounts, too.
