Any pro 'caught' doping is a fool. Astana does not suffer fools.
Outsiders may wish to draw implications. Astana will not disabuse them
of this notion.

The "suspected doping" clause must be new, because watching his
performance in the 2006 Paris-Roubaix was enough to raise suspicions.
He rode stupidly, for example, almost taking Alessandro Ballan down,
and just kept coming back.

If there's one thing we are proud of in this group it's the high end
physician/scientist membership who actually know what they're talking about.

doped up Armstrong.

Yes Bruyneel was on top of the "juice" when he was riding for Once. Do
you guys remember when Bruyneel took off with Big Mig in 1995 just
before the ITT ?

Dumbass,
Johan caught the train as it left. That's evidence of smart riding, not
doping. Lots of guys could have sat on Mig's wheel and then taken the
stage, if they had been smart enough to see him leave.
But I had forgotten the Bruyneel/Saiz connection. That's funny, given
that Bruyneel is directing Manolo's former team.

Dumbass -
That's not a good way to prove that point. Bruyneel sucked wheel the
entire way. He was on Indurain's wheel from the first moment of the
attack. Indurain was nearly dropping him around the hairpins on the
descent. Bruyneel didn't stick his nose out in the wind once until the
finish line.
thanks,

In fact, he even rode up next to Indurain and was talking to him for a moment or
two part way through that break. I'd bet he was telling Miguel exactly how it was
going to play out at the end.
