I broke my scapula (and tore my rotator cuff) two months ago. 40-mph
descending curve front tire blow-out. Helmet (regular bike lid)
buckled shell and cracked core, taking all the damage for head and
face. Was back on bike (in a LOT of pain) 10 days later. Now broken
bone is mended, and tendon tear is tolerable (surgery recommended but
50-50 at this point). Give your body a chance to heal and you should
be good as new.

Ouch. Feel better soon.

I can't stay up much past midnight anymore.

Sorry to read about your injuries. Hope you mend soon and well.
I've been lucky. Only hit three car doors opening unexpectedly on me.
Drivers, surprised. Me too, unhurt.
