Isn't there a group ride goin out on Mondays from somewhere around here? If not....anyone wanna meet up around Cary area. I'm pretty new to riding...don't even know how good I am ( or am not...lol). If not...I'll just do my norm and ride alone. But it would be nice to meet some of you folks. I can ride anytime in the afternoon/ evening tomorrow. After that. I will have work schedule set up for the next 3 weeks that I can plan off of before I head out to Ft. Knox (will be gone for 20 days)

I dunno about slowspokes, but cycling spoken here has a few rides that head out on mondays, including a no drop if you're timid.
They're all posted on their site, cyclingspokenhere dot com.

Hey, that's right CSH in Cary has a Monday night ride from the store that leaves at 6pm they have a fast pace ride around 17+ and they have a slower paced ride that ranges from 12-16 and it's a no drop. Nice ride with nice people. You should try to come out and join us. I'll have cue sheets for this ride thanks to Tracy who made a cue sheet for this ride. There is a 30 mile and a new 33 route that Tracy just made up for me last week. Come out and join us.

Count me in...gonna be the slow pace ride for me though. I was away for the summer at a school and was unable to ride for the whole 9 weeks of it. Tomorrow is my first ride back. Looking forward to it.

As others have said, CSH-Cary has a couple of good options on Monday nights. Just come on out and be ready to ride by 6pm. Park on the road next to CSH, not in their parking lot, between the bike shop and the auto dealership.
Don't kill yourself, just do the easy ride and get back into it. See how it goes and have a good ride.

Great ride tonight! Started off with the faster pace and they dropped me about 8 miles into the ride :) which I knew they would but I hung in there for as long as I could. Tracy dropped back and rode with me for a total of 31.8 miles with a pace of 16.5 for 1 hour 52 mins. Met up with Lisa and Dave but they missed the turn and went another direction. The weather was great and the company was just as great, thanks again Tracy for hanging back with me I really appreciate it. See ya on Wednesday.
