yep...not sure tho...the logistics of getting there and not having to ride the dang bus back to spartanburg....will probably see about getting my pass tho. i should at least try AoMM.

Anybody have a cue sheet from past AoMM?

I read the ride back is partly on a school bus and partly on a coach.

The AoMM has it's own webpage now - under construction.

I recall from earlier research that passes are limited and there is a ritual to follow and that past riders are preferred over new riders. I cannot find that info. now.

I am wondering about the possibility of a unofficial AoMM where one rides up the lump and then camps and eats voraciously at the top? Anybody tried such a stunt?

Of course, doing the real thing and getting the jersey, patch, photo, time, bus ride, SAG, and stocked rest stops has its own allure.

it's supposed to be nice coach buses back to spartanburg. you might be on a school bus back to marion, but after that, it's nice buses. i'm going to go the official way for getting my pass for AoMM...even if you don't get one, there are plenty of people selling them later on....if you didn't ride Assualt on Marion this year, you cannot get a passcode unless you join the Freewheelers....joining them just to get the passcode and never doing AoM is bogus IMO.....

you don't need a cue sheet. it's well marked and there's always someone to ride with...
