Well, that did not work too well. I got stuck with some home matters and could not leave until 6:20. :(

I went out anyway and managed to catch on with the C group for a bit.

Thanks bro ... back at cha. Always nice to see steel on the road!

Next Monday is Labor Day .... I will be riding in the morning somewhere if the weather is good. I am not sure where as I have not heard of any group rides starting from Cary/Apex for that day.

That was fun! I reached 37.1 on that downhill :hyper:

Time: 1:18
Distance: 19.9
Average: 15.3

Great ride with great people! Sorry about the haphazard turn into Cary Park in front of the truck. I didn't realize it was time to turn until we were about to pass the street we wanted and I spazzed-out a little bit.

Ah, that was you! Ya, be careful when doing that. First rule of thumb is don't get hit :).

Oh, and on that street you can take a left about 1/2 mile up and get to the same intersection.

Folks might want to consider getting a rear light for the bike if you think you will be out at dusk much. I noticed a lot of people did not have those and I think a light makes it easier for drivers to see you under low light conditions.

I think that the 50MPH thing was either like a 2 or 3 sec thing on a down hill sprint...or...it was like another guy said...magnetic interference
